Erika Mangrum, President of Iatria Day Spa, has announced that the firm will open a new location in the Progress Energy Building in Downtown Raleigh. The 4100 square foot office space, anticipated to be completed in early summer, is equipped with 20 foot vaulted ceilings and will be designed in a 1940s/50s Hollywood theme.

The firm currently has two locations in North Raleigh, as well as a new location to be opened in Cary in spring, 2005.

“Iatria Day Spa is pleased to have this opportunity to open our new location in downtown Raleigh,” said Mangrum. “As Iatria will be the first spa to enter the downtown market, our goal is to develop an environment that is urban and elegant, as well as warm and inviting.”

The walk is an effort to raise money to fund the fight against diabetes through furthering research, information, and support services in North Carolina. Iatria Health Center will be at the event to provide free trigger point massages to participants in the walk. Attendees will have the chance to win a one-hour massage from Iatria Day Spa, which will be raffled off at the walk.
