Iatria Day Spa To Open New Downtown Raleigh Location

Erika Mangrum, President of Iatria Day Spa, has announced that the firm will open a new location in the Progress Energy Building in Downtown Raleigh. The 4100 square foot office space, anticipated to be completed in early summer, is equipped with 20 foot vaulted ceilings and will be designed in a 1940s/50s Hollywood theme.

The firm currently has two locations in North Raleigh, as well as a new location to be opened in Cary in spring, 2005.

“Iatria Day Spa is pleased to have this opportunity to open our new location in downtown Raleigh,” said Mangrum. “As Iatria will be the first spa to enter the downtown market, our goal is to develop an environment that is urban and elegant, as well as warm and inviting.”

Erika Mangrum, President of Iatria Day Spa, has announced that the firm will sponsor the 2004 Festival of Trees, an annual fundraising event supported by the ASSISTANCE LEAGUE® of the Triangle Area. The Festival of Trees features a collection of uniquely decorated theme trees by area designers to help kick off the holiday season in the Triangle area. Iatria Day Spa will sponsor a tree for the event that will be on display at the BTI Center in Downtown Raleigh, November 12th through December 31st during select performances. Admission for the event is free. All proceeds benefit the ASSISTANCE LEAGUE® four philanthropic projects: Operation School Bell®, Kid’s Place at Wake Med®, Women in Need® (WIN), and Scholarship Programs.

Iatria Spa and Health Center will sponsor the American Diabetes Walk on September 18th at Research Triangle Park. The walk is an effort to raise money to fund the fight against diabetes through furthering research, information, and support services in North Carolina. Iatria Health Center will be at the event to provide free trigger point massages to participants in the walk. Attendees will have the chance to win a one-hour massage from Iatria Day Spa, which will be raffled off at the walk.

Iatria Day Spa and Health Centers will host a trigger point massage seminar on Tuesday, March 9th at their North Raleigh location at 8020 Creedmoor Road, from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. The seminar, which is free to the public and includes dinner, will focus on the benefits of trigger point massage and techniques to decrease stress and tension with hands-on activities and demonstrations. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend to share the techniques and practice with during the workshop.
