Own your own Iatria Spa

Iatria Day Spa was created in Raleigh, NC in 1999. The first location in North Raleigh is a 10,000 square foot space and houses both our Day Spa and Health Center.

Iatria opened a second location in 2001 offering a full array of day spa services in Wake Forest. In April 2005 we opened our third location in Cary, North Carolina and in September 2005 a fourth location in downtown Raleigh. Both the Cary and downtown Raleigh locations were opened with joint venture partners.

Erika Mangrum is founder and President of Iatria Spa and Health Center. Her husband, Dave, joined the company shortly thereafter and is Chief Financial Officer.

Spa Success Systems started when we realized that we had a unique formula for success in the industry. We found that the industry as a whole was suffering in its ability to sustain profitability while providing a calming, serene environment for wellness. Although revenue was increasing nationally in double-digit growth, many found the management challenges exceptional in trying to maximize profitable margins in a labor-intensive business. We decided to make the Iatria name available to resorts or day spa's wishing to license the name and who have the resources to start their own location but wish to base it on a proven model of success. We provide the management support necessary to help that spa adopt the systems to achieve maximum profitability and name recognition. For wishing to keep their own name, we offer the systems necessary to help it achieve its own success. Our first love is start-up endeavors, but we also selectively work with existing businesses wishing to adopt proven systems and achieve greater success.
