Body Treatments are the answer to tired, overworked and weary bodies. Like our faces, our bodies need extra special care and treatment.

At Iatria, we have Body Treatments that can soften dehydrated skin and help eliminate unwanted toxins, leaving the body harmoniously well-balanced.

Body treatments are performed in our special wet room with Vichy Shower for the ultimate body experience (Creedmoor Road only).

Trained and skillful therapists will perform body treatments without a vichy shower at our Wakefield location.

Body Contouring Wrap

Body wrapping is a therapeutic treatment that is used to detoxify the body using simple, all natural ingredients. These readily available ingredients have been used over the years traditionally to tighten and tone the skin and help stimulate the body to rid itself of trapped toxins, excess fat and excessive trapped lymph fluids.

Detoxifying the body through body wrapping not only creates inch loss and shrinking, it is also an excellent addition to any weight loss program. When losing weight on any reduction diet your skin can lose elasticity and start to sag. Body wrapping can be a great support for any reduction program.

This treatment provides optimum results when performed in a series of 8 sessions.

Parafango Wrap

Combines both the benefits of the seaweed wrap and the paraffin wrap for extra smooth skin. The paraffin seals in the moisture and the minerals of the seaweed. Forms a natural moisture barrier between you and the weather.

Seaweed Infusion Wrap

Clay-Algae Detoxifying Wrap

This rich spa formula contains a blend of three impurity-drawing clays along with nutrient-rich Klamath blue-green algae. Essential oil of lavender creates a relaxing, uplifting mood.

Helps to eliminate impurities from the body. Improves the appearance of cellulite and hard-to-lose areas.

Paraffin Wrap

Treat yourself to a warm, soothing, paraffin wrap. First your entire body is dry-brushed to help increase circulation and prepare the body for the paraffin. A moisturizing veil of emollient aromatic lotions and oils is then applied to the body. To help the body absorb and retain the moisture, heated paraffin is applied creating a heavenly "cocoon" around the body.

Benefits:
Skin retains the amount of moisture longer than skin without paraffin included in a wrap. The warmth of the paraffin not only feels wonderful on the body, but can temporarily help soothe the body of minor aches and pains.

Herbal Wrap

Utilizes nature's herbs including ginger root, rosemary leaf, allspice berry, eucalyptus leaf and clove stems to wrap the body in a purifying and cleansing bodywrap. For hundreds of years, people have used herbs to help detoxify and contour the body.

A natural way to soften skin and detoxify the body.

Iatria's Signature Body Glow

This special treatment is the beginning to a smoother, silkier body. An aromatic mixture of moisturizing oils, aromatherapy oils, and Mediterranean sea salts are applied and massaged in circular motions all over the body.

Benefits:
Circular motions help increase circulation in the body. Skin is left incredibly soft and supple with a light scent of aromatherapy oils.

Safe Sunless Suntan Treatment

This body treatment is actually two treatments in one. Your skin is polished to remove dead skin cells which often leave skin lifeless and dull. A silky moisturizing cream is then evenly applied to all areas of the body. Within hours, you will have a sun-kissed look without the dangers of the sun.

Benefits:
Skin looks as if you spent the day at the beach without damaging or harming the body. You will have a streak-free "tan" that is safe and convenient. In addition, your body is lightly conditioned with emollients that leave the texture of your skin velvety smooth.

Waxing Services

Finally, a way to remove temporarily unwanted hair that is less abrasive and time consuming than regular shaving. We offer a tremendous range of waxing services, from facial waxing to body waxing.
